Do you build gates, railings and stairs?
Yes. We fabricate and repair metal gates, handrails, stairs and ornamental ironwork for both homes and businesses.
Do you offer mobile welding?
Yes. Mobile welding is our specialty — we bring the equipment to your home, job site, marina or business across Clearwater and Pinellas County so you don't have to transport the work.
What areas do you serve?
We serve Clearwater and all of Pinellas County, including Largo, Dunedin, Palm Harbor, St. Petersburg, Tarpon Springs, Safety Harbor, Seminole, Pinellas Park and the surrounding beaches.
Do you weld aluminum and stainless, not just steel?
Yes. We weld steel, aluminum and stainless. Aluminum and stainless take more skill and the right setup — important for boats, trailers and marine hardware in our salt-air climate.
Are you certified and insured?
Yes — Dan's Welding and Fabrication, LLC is certified and insured. We're happy to provide proof of insurance for commercial, marina and property-manager work.
Do you offer emergency or same-day repairs?
When our schedule allows, yes. Call or text us for emergency and same-day mobile welding — tell us what broke and where you are.
Do you work on boat trailers?
Yes. Boat trailers take a beating from saltwater and ramps. We repair rusted crossmembers, frames, bunks and brackets to get you back on the water.
Can I upload photos for a quote?

How much does mobile welding cost?
Most mobile jobs start around $300, which covers the trip and the first hour of work. Final price depends on the metal type, access and how involved the repair is. Send photos for a real number.
Do you need power or anything on-site?
No — our truck carries its own welder and power, so we can work where there is no outlet. We just need safe access to the work and a bit of clear space.
Is it safe to tow my trailer to you?
If the frame, tongue, coupler, axle mount, or spring hanger is cracked or broken, do not tow it. That's exactly when mobile repair makes sense — we come to the trailer.
My crossmember is rusted through — can it be fixed?
Usually yes. We cut out the corroded section and weld in new metal. Send a close-up and we'll tell you if it's a repair or a sign the trailer needs more work before it's safe to tow.
Can you weld my T-top / ladder / rod holders?
Yes — those are common marine aluminum and stainless jobs. Send photos and the metal type if you know it.
What can't be welded on-site?
Most repairs can. Badly corroded structural pieces, sealed/pressurized vessels, or jobs that need a controlled shop setting are the exceptions — we'll tell you honestly if something is better brought in.
What trailer parts do you fix most?
Cracked frames and crossmembers, broken couplers and tongues, spring hangers, axle mounts, gate and ramp hinges, and rust repair.
Do you weld aluminum boat trailers?
Yes — aluminum and galvanized. Aluminum needs the right setup to weld strong, especially around saltwater, and that's what we use.
Will the repair hold up in salt water?
We use materials and methods suited to salt air so the repair lasts. Catching corrosion early always gives the strongest result.
Do you repair trailers?
Absolutely. We weld and repair utility, equipment, dump and travel trailers — cracked frames, broken hinges, couplers, brackets and supports — usually right at your location.
